Introduction of Russian Home in UAE
"Russian Home" was founded by Igor Mezentsev and his wife Elena on the 7th of February 1999, when the domain name russianhome.com was registered and the construction of "Russian Home" began. Our target is to unite and support the Russian-speaking community living in the United Arab Emirates and provide it with truthful and useful information.
On the pages of "Russian Home":
- Daily news by "Russian Home"'s own reporters and Russia's largest information agencies, such as RIA Novosti and ITAR-TASS;
- Web Forum;
- Russian Bulletin board;
- Official information from the Russian Embassy and Consulate in the UAE;
- Detailed information about Russian companies and organizations, working in the UAE (cargo, shops, restaurants, Russian clinics and doctors, Beauty Salons, a Russian School, concerts, exhibitions and sports events);
- Job vacancies from the UAE companies;
Apart from all this, monthly competitions are carried out, in which valuable prizes are given out (a luxurious dinner in a restaurant, audio and video equipment, photo cameras, a membership in a health club, gift vouchers etc.).
More than 2,600 users participate in the web conference, and the total number of messages sent exceeds 39,000. "Russian Home"'s mailing lists speaks of its large audience – now it contains more than 40,000 thousand e-mail addresses. Over two thousand visitors browse the pages of our site every day.
In December of 2001 started its operation the virtual "Russian Home" club. Members of this club receive various privileges both online and offline. To this day, over 20 companies and organizations participated in this program. "Russian Home" has united thousands of our compatriots and has stepped outside the Internet into real life.
